Ideas wait off the board until someone decides.
Anyone working on a board can propose an idea, and so can AI agents. Teammates back the ones they want, the most backed come first, and a person accepts an idea into a card or dismisses it, so the board holds only work someone agreed to.
From an idea to a card
Propose
Open the board's Proposals tab and write what should change in one line, and why it is worth doing if you like. AI agents propose with propose-card rather than adding cards nobody asked for.
Back the ones you want
Support an idea instead of proposing it again. The list puts the most supported first, and every new supporter keeps an idea open for another 30 days.
Decide
Accept makes the idea a card in the board's first column, assigned to whoever proposed it. Dismiss takes it off the list with an optional reason, and you can select several to dismiss them at once.
Let the rest go
An idea with no decision and no new supporter for 30 days expires. The Decided view keeps the last 30 days: who decided, the reason, and the card each idea became.
One idea, one proposal
Before a proposal joins the list, TaskDeck compares it with what the board already holds.
Already proposed
When someone else has proposed much the same, your support goes to theirs instead of a second row.
Already on the board
When an unfinished card already covers the idea, TaskDeck names the card. Propose anyway if it is something else.
Turned down lately
When a similar idea was dismissed or expired in the last 30 days, you see when, and why if someone said. Propose anyway if things have changed.

In Claude and ChatGPT, list-proposals draws a board's open proposals, most supported first. Accept one, or dismiss one or several with a reason, without leaving the conversation. AI connections are on the Pro and Max plans.

Can viewers propose?
No. Viewers read a board's proposals; admins and members propose and support them.
What happens to an idea nobody decides on?
It expires 30 days after it was proposed or last gained a supporter. Expired and decided ideas stay in the Decided view for 30 days.
Do proposals cost extra?
